- Organic Ginger Root  (Zingiber officinale

Gingerol is the main bioactive component in the plant, along with shogaols, which are the source of the pungent aroma that ginger produces.

These components increase digestion to speed up the emptying of the stomach helping to reduce nausea and settle stomach irritations.

The volatile oils in ginger contain high level anti-inflammatory properties, to remove excess bloating and relieve those sick feelings.

I like to add a little organic honey and a splash of lemon juice. Not only does it taste wonderful, but it helps keep colds and flu at bay.

This is one of the most refreshing teas around. I drink this just because it tastes great and I feel energised afterwards.

It's hot most of the time in Kununurra so I make sure there's a jug of this tea, ice cold in the fridge for when the kids get home from school. Healthier than ginger beer and more refreshing if you ask me.
