WHAT IS ASHWAGANDHA?
Ashwagandha is a small evergreen shrub that is native to India, parts of Africa, and the Middle East.
It grows to a height of about 40 to 70 cm in height, and has small, green, bell-shaped flowers, and orange-red fruit.
HOW DO YOU MAKE ASHWAGANDHA TEA?
- Bring your water to the boil and then add 1 teaspoon of ashwagandha tea.
- Place a lid on the boiling water and turn the heat down to simmer.
- After 10 minutes, take the water off the heat and allow to cool.
- Pour water through a sieve into a cup and allow to cool.
- Remove the water from heat and allow it to cool.
- Add any flavours you like and then enjoy your power tea.

I actually read up a bit about ashwagandha root tea before purchasing it. I knew what to expect with the aroma and flavour, but I didn't know how much better I'd feel. It makes me feel more alive, more energised. Not jumping off the wall energised, but I have a constant supply of energy, which I didn't have before. I find I sleep better at night, too
I have 3 pre-schoolers and I have to tell you that this tea is my saviour. Naturally, I was sceptical at first, but if you don't try, you never know, hey? The taste was a bit of a shock, but I added some cocoa powder and that masked the taste really well. (I tried honey, too, but that didn't work for me). Anyway, after about a week, maybe 2, I realised I was making it through the day with more energy
This tea really helps me with my depression. I feel better able to cope with life and notice I have more energy, as well. I don't feel like lying on the couch all day anymore. Give it a go
