DIRECTIONS

The recommended doses of ashwagandha powder are 1 teaspoon per day. The effects should start being felt between 3 to 6 weeks after starting on the powder.

HOW DO YOU TAKE ASHWAGANDHA POWDER?

The great thing about a powder is that you can take it however you want. Add it to chocolate milk or a healthy smoothie. Stir some into a curry, or casserole. Or simply stir some into a glass of water, or fruit juice.   

 

WHAT DOES ASHWAGANDHA DO?

Ashwagandha is famous for reducing stress and anxiety, and fighting depression. Further, it boosts brain function, and fertility in men. It may lower cholesterol, reduce inflammation, and have anti-cancer properties. 

 

HOW MUCH ASHWAGANDHA CAN YOU TAKE?

250 mg – 500 mg of ashwagandha powder a day for at least a month is all you need for it to reveal its health benefits, but probably no more than 2000 mg as the powder is more concentrated than ashwagandha tea.  

 

WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF ASHWAGANDHA?

Large doses of ashwagandha can cause stomach upset, vomiting, and diarrhoea.

Generally, after 3 months, it’s best to take a break from ashwagandha for a couple of weeks.    

 

DO I TAKE ASHWAGANDHA IN THE MORNING OR NIGHT?

The best time to take ashwagandha is when you are most likely to be able to do it on a regular basis. For a lot of people this is either first thing in the morning, or after dinner.

If you experience stomach upsets from the powder then it’s probably best to take it at night with your evening meal.

Don't be put off by the taste. Add it to some hot chocolate or your latte because the benefits are real. I haven''t felt so emotionally stable for years. My depression seems to have gone and I've noticed a huge reduction in my anxiety
